Substitute for pullups

Guest
my exercise routine requires pullups, but when I work out at home and don't have access to the equipment for pullups. I do have barbells and dumbells and a bench press.
Could someone please recommend an exercise that can substitute for pullups?

Thanks

do you have a door frame most sporting good stores have pull-up bars that can be put up in them. Otherwise go outside and use a tree.or a local park with monkey bars

Swing sets work well too.

If your bench is a seperate unit to your rack, you can place a barbell in the rack at the highest position and use this, keep your knees up & feet off the ground. It's not ideal, but...
