When doing dumbbell shoulder presses, how far am I supposed to come down. I've been told not to go past parallel on the down motion, but is that enough to properly work the muscle?
 
Go down as far as comfortable IMO - for some, this is to the chin, for others the chest. Yes other muscle groups will become involved, I don't have a problem with that.
