Soft Upper outer thigh area

I'm looking for an exercise that can help to firm up the soft area of the outer thigh and the area under my butt. I am lifting and doing cardio but the area doesn't want to budge.

If you are doing exercises and cardio then look at your diet as to why you are not losing fat.
Squats are best for firm muscular thighs and firm glutes.
 
I did leg press for the first time in ages the other night, and it hit mu upper thighs hard.
You can use many variations of leg press with different foot placement to target different parts of leggs and butt.

Butt as Shrek said, diet and squats will also do the job.
