Treadmill - More incline vs. more speed?

On the treadmill what is more effective incline or more speed with jogging?

It depends on your goal. Both will raise our heart rate. Walking at an incline will work different muscles and involve less chance of injury than running. Just so you know, even when running, move the incline to 1%- it creates an environment similar to running outdoors.

A combination would be good, but I would say incline too.

If you increase the speed to much then it won't be jogging, it would become sprinting, which is probably not what you are training for.

I'd say incline - at least that way your less likely to stack it!

I use a tread mill regularly, and incline definitely gets the heart pumping, but all depends on what you are aiming for.

A variety of both would be best for overall conditioning, keep the body guessing!!!! Mix it up.
