There is many different forms of squats , there is the front squat, overhead squats, jump squats and box squats, so what is the difference between them and just the normal squats?
 
Overhead squat: Is much like a Military Press you are hold the bar/weights over your head.

Box Squats: Much the same as a normal squat except you sit on a box before powering back up.

Front squats: Hold the bar close to your chest resting the bar on folded arms
 
Yeah there's 6 million different squat variations.

Basically they will all work the quads, hamstrings and glutes a fair bit, as well as calves, lower back, upper back and abdominals ie they use 90% of your body.

Main difference between variations is the emphasis on which muscles get used more.
 
Hamburgler also does a "Get Up Squat"

You squat, fall over and "Get Up" muahahahahahah
