Treating a sprain

2 weeks ago I sprained/rolled my ankle landing on a soccer ball. Now I remembered the R.I.C.E (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)

Anyways, I still feel a bit of pain in the ankle. The inflammation died down a few days ago thankfully, but is it generally ok to get back into normal exercise regimes if there is still a bit of a feeling down there?.

I'm not sure what to do from here. Anyone tried ankle guards or wraps ?.

for the first 2 weeks after, do nothing sporting wise, then for the next 2 weeks try to just keep things to light jogging, wading in a pool or some swimming.

but best thing i've found for building strength (back) into the ankle is a "wobble board" they worked magic on my ankles and my knee after I had it rebuilt.
