Cops interview big Rex over road rage

AFL footy caller and celebrity fisherman Rex Hunt has been interviewed by police over allegations he seriously assaulted a cyclist in a violent road rage attack.
Mr Hunt, 59, was summoned to an interview at an inner-Melbourne police station on Wednesday over the alleged attack that left a 30-year-old cyclist with a suspected broken finger.
It is believed Mr Hunt was driving along Ormond Esplanade in Elwood about 1.30pm last Saturday - on his way to the Collingwood-Essendon clash at the MCG - when he became embroiled in an argument with the cyclist.
Mr Hunt allegedly got out of his 4WD and confronted the man before assaulting him.
