[Cycling] cranks making Noise

hey
my cranks have been making a creaking sound lately just wondering if anyone had an idea of what it could be.
 
Probably needs a re-grease. Happens all the time if you ride in alot of dirt/mud and water. Take em out and re-grease them
 
thanks , took them apart , re-greased them , that did the trick no more noise
