there are those that just wanna jump on the bike and go , and then their are those that like to know I'm the type that wants to know:

information i keep log of is
1. Where I've ridden
2. How far I've traveled
3. How much did I climb
4. average speed
5. max speed
6. How many Km's did I ride this week/month/year
etc.

i just use notepad to keep track of my logs , although there are programs out there that you can use

i just used to use my bike computer to keep tabs on the distance traveled and top speed , but that was just about it , only recently have i decided to keep a bit more of an active log , interesting going back on previous stats
