any ppl here on ausbmx/ausbb ridden or have made dirt jumps with cement mixed into the top 3 to 5 inches of the jump. Any good tips like what kind of cement/concrete to use would be appreciated

i've only ever seen this done once with quick-crete and the results are pretty good for the first little bit, but your better off just super compacting your dirt

we tried it on our jumps and it worked really good. we put chicken wire on the dirt then fastened it to the dirt with some nails.(prior to that , the dirst was well compacted)then poured the cement on the chicken wire and it worked out good

i was told to use calcium on the jumps after they are built. Just on the takeoffs, it sinks in and kind of seals them making them hard as and also helps to keep the dust down.

If you can get ahold of crushed concrete powder, when you mix that in with your jumps and water them it makes them hard
