Creatine?

Have been reading about the basics of creatine, but just have a few questions...

It basically gives your muscles more energy = a few more reps/heavier weights?

So you will only get big based on the increase gains from taking creatine? eg. if i take creatine but continue the same weights/reps I won't gain extra muscle from normal?

Also i read of loading and taking it on/off, do most of you guys use creatine long term or just one in a while? do you loose the muscle you gain when you stop taking creatine?

thanks

creatine aids in muscle growth by allowing muscles to retain more water to aid in recovery.....thats why you maybe gain a 1kg or 2 when you first take it due to your muscles retaining more water, but its not THE ONLY way to add mass you can do without it, and when you stop taking it you dont lose muscle mass you lose the water your muscles are retaining.
