Being a tight ass, I hate paying much for a casual gym visit, I have joined Albury PCYC ($20 annual membership) so I can get cheap casual sessions at Sydney's PCYCs. Happy to give my money to such an important youth and citizen organisation.

Anyone have any experience with such gyms in Sydney. Plan on a few sessions at the city of Sydney gym and Burwood, latter has weightlifting and powerlifting set up.

I used to train at such a gym in early 1980s, I think at Belmore.

The Sydney PCYC's rarely get mentioned, you may have to report back with your findings if you come across some well equiped ones!

$20 is just membership, you still have to pay for weekly, monthly or yearly gym.

For example, Burwood in sydney, which also is a registered NSW weigthlifting club,

Juniors - $6.00/day, $40.00/mth, $400.00/yr
Seniors - $10.00/Day, $50.00/mth, $500.00/yr

trained at Sydney PCYC a couple of times; not a bad gym for price.

Saw a couple of very fit looking female trainers there. I asked one what sport she did, but she merely said she was into strength and conditioning.

so after a bot of a internet search, since she was making clips of training, i found this.
