I thought most treadmills these days allow displays to be either in m/min or km/hr?? The days of needing to whip out the abacus and/or plot charts while you're jogging away on one is over!

When I was training to enlist I was using g the treadmill at the gym. Then had my interview with a para SGT and he laughed and told me to try running instead. Treadmill just looks like running, the speed I thought I was doing didn't compare to what I could actually do.

Yeah pretty much running on a tready is completely different to actually running where you have to move your own bodyweight

You got to set the incline to about 2-3% if you want to even have a chance of trying to simulate real running.
