The internet loves goats, it also loves Disney songs, so it makes sense that the latest stupidly addictive game on the iOS App Store combines them both.
The game is called Let it Goat, and it will you suck in just like those two other bird games did.
The game itself is a side scroller game. You play as Mounty the Goat with the objective to score as many points as you can without dying. There are also zombies you have to jump over, because, you know, why not?
The game has become so popular in the US that the #LetItGoat hashtag was trending last week, with over 27,000 mentions of the tag taking place in just 24 hours.
It also helps that the game’s creators, Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson are internet celebrities despite being high school interns at the company that released the game, SkyVu. Between the two Jacks, they have four million Vine subscribers and two million Twitter followers.
“We are now working with Jack & Jack on more Let it Goat updates in addition to a new casual game later this year. They have built a massive following on Vine and are growing into other platforms like iTunes, Twitter and YouTube and we believe that our well designed games perfectly fit their growing brand as well as ours. We’re super excited to be working with local Omaha talent to build great games,” said a spokesperson for SkyVu.
