Thank you to all those past and present who defended our country. Lest we forget.
 
The dawn service is non negotiable for me. I'd have been there quite literally rain hail or shine. If they are holding it - I'm attending, been that way for years.

One morning a year to stand and pay your respects is the least I can do.

Good turnout for the march and service today, high school kids even lined the path as we came through the arch to the memorial, many of them wearing medals for relatives. Good to see plenty of young ones there even if they don't fully understand what it is all about.

On the downside, 4 fucking pastors, ministers or whatever they were all decided to sneak in some shit about their easter fairytale and comparing that shit with people who actually made the ultimate sacrifice for us. You lot had your 4 day weekend, stop trying to steal this day as well.
