I know I can't be the only one here. What are some of your home remedies for smelly and wet shoes?

Wet- fill your shoes with newspaper!!! Always did that after wet rugby trainings. Dry by the next morning. Paper sucks it all out!!! It works 100%

Stinky, maybe talc or I've heard putting them in a plastic bag in the freezer, but never tried it. Stuck with talc

Newspaper works wonders for boxing gloves sucks the odors right out, surely would work for shoes

There are odour eating talk powders available. And removing the inner soles, or having several pairs to cycle through while the used ones dry out also help. The smell is caused by bacteria in the sweat, so personal hygiene with an anti bacterial soap is also helpful. Using two or three pairs of shoes is another way to combat it, as is good quality cotton socks, not nylon, wool or any synthetic fiber.
