Delayed menstruation

Is frequent exercising can be the cause of a delayed menstruation??

What do you think? I recently read an article here saying that (link)

Delayed Menstruation: What Could Cause It? · Women's Health articles | Family Health center | SteadyHealth.com

I'm confused, because I believed that exercising will then help me normalized my menstruation though I workout actively this past few weeks but then I noticed that I was delayed for 2 weeks now so I decided to read something about it, and here I saw this article saying that exercise might be one of the cause of the delay. ..any thoughts on this?

Could be, if you are exercising vigorously or intensively. Are you also sexually active? Have you tried the pregnancy test? If the third week has passed, go see a doctor to help you determine the cause of that delayed period.
