So this was recently passed onto me on how to backup your training log

extension is for Chrome, Firefox and IE too. http://wiki.imacros....munity_Editions

1. Download/install iMacros for Chrome https://chrome.googl...oopmnlemp?hl=en
2. Open the iMacros window by clicking the icon on your Chrome toolbar. Select #Current.iim, and click "Edit Macro". Delete everything that is in the window that opens and put the following command in:

VERSION BUILD=6011206 RECORDER=CR
'Save the page in different formats
SAVEAS TYPE=htm FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}}
'htm gives JavaScript security warnings.
'SAVEAS TYPE=HTM FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}}
'txt the formatting is bad
'SAVEAS TYPE=TXT FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}}
'PNG only takes an image of the viewable top part of the page
'SAVEAS TYPE=PNG FOLDER=* FILE=Time_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}}.png
'this is the command to click the next button in your log
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:>
'Wait a few seconds –we don’t want to overload Ausbb - Australian bodybuilding
WAIT SECONDS=3

3. Click Save & Close

Note: Many of the lines I commented out (start with an apostrophe) after testing them. I left them in there if you want to try the other save formats.

To archive your log

1. Open the the first page of your log in Chrome.

2. In the iMacro window, set the Max (loop) to the amount of pages you have in your log. (When you run the macro, it will give you an undefined message after saving the last page of your log as the next button is not visible on that page. Just ignore it as your log has already completed saving.)

3. Make sure your log is the open (in focus) tab in Chrome

4. Click Play Loop

It will take about 5 seconds per page to open, save it, and click next…most of that is the 3 second wait. The pages will be saved to Documents\iMacros\Downloads (You can change this location in preferences) It will have all the posted images, etc. in them. Embedded youtube videos will link ok to play. The first page will have a slightly different filename but the rest will be the URLs when you page through your log. Just sort by date modified ascending and your log will be in order.

The macro is saved once you set it up. To add pages in the future...all you have to do is go to the last page you archived and click Play Loop. It will redo the last page with new postings and add any new pages.

Necrofuckenbump! This is an awesome feature, just discovered this and I think it is incredibly sexy.
