A serious note, from Bulk Nutrients: Our $5,000 Challenge...

*We ask for a moment of your time - A serious note, from Bulk Nutrients: Our $5,000 Challenge...

To anyone who has ever heard a false rumour regarding the operations of Bulk Nutrients, we have done this in response to this (not often but enough to make us bother to do so). Of course these rumours never come with a name, only a vague "a guy that worked in xx shop" or "a rep of another company."

WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO PLEASE SHARE THIS AROUND TO ANYONE YOU HAVE "HEARD" WOULD LIKE A QUICK $5,000...

*DECLARATION*
In the last 4 years Bulk Nutrients has literally blended hundreds of tonnes of protein. In all of that time we have never and will never add anything to any of our products that would,

a) reduce the quality and level of the protein in the product – other than that specified on the label (ie flavouring and sweetener) through ingredients such as whey powder or milk powder, and/or,

b) add a different type of protein not specified on the label, ie wheat, soy, rice to any of our Whey, Milk and Casein protein products.
Bulk Nutrients stands by our very clear labelling, that, the only product apart from minimal levels of flavouring and sweetener (which are included at between 1 and 5% depending on the flavour) is the ingredient specified clearly on the label.
• In the case of our Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) this has always been “WPC 80” as supplied by Fonterra.
• In the case of our Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) the only ingredient used is an Ultra and Cross Filtered Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) currently supplied by Mullins Whey U.S. We previously used Fonterra stock (Alacen 894), however due to a global shortage we are using what we consider the closest alternative, being the high quality WPI supplied by Mullins. We use this as we consider it better (higher in protein spec) than the 2-3 other popular alternatives currently available in Australia.

We welcome any testing on any of our Whey, Milk and Casein protein products. We can assure all customers that the results of any analysis’ conducted on our finished product should represent the information available on the labels supplied with the products, and that any variations should be easily explainable through minor variations in flavouring levels and seasonal fluctuations of whey, as is and dry basis, with provisions in the case of our WPI for the U.S product used – as the specs vary slightly from the original U.S product used.
Again, we make it very clear that THE ONLY ingredients we add to our proteins products apart from the single base protein (as outlined above) are the sweetener (Sucralose) and flavourers (as well as Cocoa in the case of Chocolate and Choc Mint flavours). Please note that very minor amounts of Soy lecithin are added by the raw whey manufacturers in the case of all of our “Instantised” wheys which is completely normal. These would be present in an analysis but only at the exact (very small) amounts utilised by the raw manufacturer, we do not add any extra lecithin.

*CHALLENGE*
If you believe that the above statement is incorrect we are offering an open challenge. Anyone sceptical of the ingredients used in any of our Whey, Casein and Milk proteins products is welcome to do any or all of the following.

1. Visit our factory/warehouse at any time during business hours where they are welcome to inspect our premises.
This can include checking our raw stock matches the ingredients listed in the above statement, confirming that no ingredients such as whey powder (a very low quality and low protein % form of whey), milk powder (skim milk or otherwise) or items such as wheat protein (or any similar cheap forms of protein) are used or stored at our factory.

2. Openly view our machinery and manufacturing processes in motion (so our stated ratios can be verified) and discuss with you our lengthy food safety, quality assurance, goods manufacturing practise, OH&S and other relevant procedures which are consistent with those required by legislators (including FSANZ and The DIAA).

3. To conduct any independent testing on our products through a nationally recognised testing facility. The results of these analysis should clearly indicate that we only use the proteins and other ingredients clearly verified on the label of our Whey, Casein and Milk Protein products, with any nutritional variations clearly explainable through variations in whey supply, seasonal specs or dry and “as is” basis as explained in the our “declaration” above.

If anyone can prove the declaration above to be incorrect through any of the methods explained in the “challenge” then we will provide the first person that does so a payment of $5000. We encourage you to pass this document onto anyone who has ever been sceptical about our products, as bearing the sole responsibility for all of manufacturing of our products, we feel completely confident in offering this total guarantee and feel very
proud that we have never and will never deviate from what is outlined in this document.

Regards,

Ben Crowley
Managing Director Bulk Nutrients.
