PTC Sydney - Redemption #2 3 lift Results

First off what a day. The gym was packed to capacity with over 60 people coming and going to the gym at times. Double the turnout of competitors from last years comp at the old gym.

Breakdown -
23 lifters. Majority complete novices to po
werlifting.
3 females/20 males.

Ages ranging fom 14-37
70kg-285kg Deadlifts

I would like to thank everybody for coming to this event and supporting this growing sport.

Special thanks to the spotters/loaders and judges without them helping out this would not have been possible

Yeah alot of them were setting equalling/setting new PB's on the second attempt.

half of the competitors were from the gym.

Novice comps and 3rd benches always see lots of missed lifts. Happens all the time.

Jeez that was an awesome 285kg pull from Ray Siakia. I don't even know the guy and I'm sitting here yelling "go Ray" at the screen 24hrs after it's all over.
 
Vanessas squat video looks like her third attempt at 95kgs.....? She made her 90kg squat.

I was very happy with my bench after the failed attempt some time ago at your last comp in Silverwater.

i will when i get home later tonight john. Just waiting on a few other guys to also bring in their cameras to the gym.

Great lifting yesterday btw. Your lifts have gone up and u got the calls right :)
