[Article] I Don't Feel Bad About My Body

That's what I've been saying all along without wavering. Body this body that! Whatever happened to health before all else? If a woman finds herself on the "heavy" side according to some set standards, yet her health is fine and she's also feeling fine and does not feel burdened by her "excess" weight, then who the hell is anybody who is anybody to set down the rules and standards of what she should and should not look like!

I wish I was a woman at times; I'd be the spokesperson for the voiceless, confused, and at times frustrated many!

Leave women the hell alone, hands and your standards for what is considered to be normal off, and there's no please about it!

Fadi.

I'm a strong black woman who don't need no man!

lmao

I feel the rage here too!

Slightly off topic however Oli-ander! :D

Again, great article Viv. I think sometimes we are our own worst enemies - and women seem to judge one another, way more harshly than men ever will. This needs to stop.

But we can each start with ourselves I guess ;)

Amin to that! ... or Amen as some may prefer! :)

You're all spot on ... I especially feel Oli's rage ... :D

Serious note, agree that women are each other's and our own worst enemies in being so harsh.
I think this gal was just busting with good sense at a young age. I admire that and wish I had her good sense when I was young too.

I cannot understand how we tolerate anything less.

Rage on!!
