What are your plans/goals for Winter Training

So as I cast my mind forward and have a think about what my own goals are for the winter months, I thought I'd pose the question to the forum also?

What are your training plans/goals for winter folks?

*Bulking?
*Cutting?
*Strength goals?
*Any competitions or meets coming up that you're prepping for?
*New training schedules/nutrition plans?
*New numbers you're hoping to hit?
*Programs/splits your planning to do?

Personally, once I'm well enough to start weight training again, I'm cutting the cardio (almost) entirely and taking advantage of my forced calorie deficit over the coming months to focus on building lean muscle with weight training only, to lose the last of my fat.

Higher reps and lower weights! (not a solid 90kg DL will be seen!) lol

Smaller by summer, that's the focus. How much smaller? Who knows!
But that's how my approach to winter will flow.

What about you? Where is everyone at right now?

Bulk... Get strong... Change routine slightly to assist in muscle growth/development. Also have to try and add in sprints/hill sprints to help for tough mudder at the end of the year.
 
Maintain weight but continue focus on strength building. Going to cut in November, should only need to lose 4-5kgs.
Continue with my PTC program.
Aiming for double and a half bw deadlift, body weight bench, double bw squat.
Would be nice to achieve by August:)
 
This winter I plan a huge bulk with kettlebells

I have big hopes for bulking this winter.

Is it wrong for a woman to be bulking? It sounds wrong. Should I say toning? :p:p:p

but yeah, KBs all the way to my samba dancer's toosh....in case I can't fix my stupid ankle to squat properly...

I would think that cutting in the winter and bulking in the summer was always a good plan, don't know.
 
Maintain lean body shape. No huge bulk through winter. I don't wanna be trekking Alaska with a belly. :D:D
 
Will be spending most of July in Thailand and I aim to have ladyboys salivating over my washboard abs.
 
Looking forward to eating a lot this winter. Also growing a beard. Both should help me bulk to become insanely built and strong
 
No different than the rest of the year I'm afraid. Work on this training program I am on, and 3x weekly kung fu training. I cannot imagine any changes until next year.
