MikeW's 2012 Body Transformation

Hey team,

There needs to be an old rogue or two in this field, so here goes. I reckon I'm a shoe in for the Masters...

OK, age 42, height 168cm (5'6") and current weight is 72.8kg. Best lifts are S 130, B 90, D 167. Dimensions, wouldn't have a clue.

My goal is to keep ticking up those PBs and gain some lean mass along the way. Wouldn't mind a 420kg+ total by the end of the year and sitting comfortably over 75kg at around 10% BF. Currently around 20% BF I estimate.

OK, some photos:

I see plenty of potential here, nice shoulders, strong upper back....gonna be a good year for you I think.

Good luck
Graeme

as ive said before mike.. u have won already by still training at over 40..
lots of potential there to make changes..

good luck..

Veteran sprinter with claims here. Has had the most unusual problem of his 'tackle' bruising his legs during runs, as it bangs against his thighs! Stable foreman says he'll be a eunuch by the time you read this, so problem solved. Without that baggage attached, expect the new lightweight to be making up some considerable ground on the field at the home turn.

Could find a new lease of life in this company.

Thanks Shrek and the rest of you guys for your support!

And a special thanks to Candyflip, I laughed my nuts off! Right, must be good to go now... BTW, where's your entry big fella? Was sure you'd be a starter.

Cheers,
Mike

Good luck Mike, and I also look forward to Candy's form guide for each competitor.

Update...

Up 3kg to 75.8kg now. Deadlift PB increased from 167 to 175 and on track to get my 100kg bench in 5 weeks time.

Happy with progress, but early days yet.

Cheers,
Mike

nice job, looks like you stayed around the same bodyfat and gained 3kg so thats good

Thanks guys, I've still got to pack on a lot of meat, but I'm on my way. Eat, lift, rest, repeat! ;)

Would like to see at least 85kg before I finish this bulk. 90kg would be better.

Cheers,
Mike
