Military press wrist pain

craze

New member
Hello, when doing military press once over 60KG, i find it hard as my wrists hurt, my muscles can handle it but the wrist do not do so well.

I understand that you do not want your wrists bent back etc. Any tips or advice to make sure my wrists will be ok longer term

Where does the bar sit in your hands?

In the fold of your palm?
Just above the meaty part of your thumb?

Ok let's try another way.

With your hand flat and fingers straight, fold your hand so it creates a crease in your palm.

If the bar sits in that crease you'll place stress on your wrist.

The bar should rest between that fold and on the meaty part or muscle of the thumb.
