Home use leg press or leg press/hack squat?

Hi all. I`m new here but not to new to the gym game.

I`m in the process of setting up my own gym now and already have a solid power rack and oly bar F.I.D bench

I`m looking at getting a leg press for home use and I keep seeing the ones that double up as a hack squat as well.

My question is, are these dual purpose units ok for home (but still heavy) use, or am I better with a simple leg press as there is less to go wrong?

I cant squat due to an old injury. I tried doing them yesterday after a few months off and even with only 85kg for 20 reps my back is in bits again so I`m limited with options.

Lunges are fine by the way.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers buddy. That`s what I was thinking. I also reckon that a machine that is simply designed to do one thing will be better than something trying to do two.

Any suggestions or makes to go for/avoid?

I`m guessing I`m gonna have to spend around 1.5k?

Thanks buddy.

I managed to pick up a set of Ironmaster DB`s (120lb kit) off ebay the other day for a few hundred bucks less.

It`s just a waiting game I guess.

I'm looking out for a hammer strength leverage leg press

These would be my top picks;

Hammer horizontal squat
Nautilus duo-squat
Nautilus leverage leg press
And the pendulum leg-press
Unfortunately not heavily populated here.
