Constant blocked nose

Does anyone else suffer from a constant blocked nose?

Rarely I can breath through both nostrils... usually I can breath half-unobstructed through one and the other is full of concrete. The half open nostril varies. When I work out I can usualy breath through both, I guess the mucous dissolves from the heat generated.

I think it might be polyps or overactive mucous glands. I dont get mountains of phlem or anyhting so Im guessing probably polyps. Anyone else had polyps? I should probably got to a ENT doctor but I'm heaps pov at the moment.
 
hah!!! its not just me... i dont have frontal sinuses... never developed im "special" lol.. mine wasnt from mucous though.
i had surgery done a few years back, where they drilled out nostrils and sinuses and realigned nose cartlidge to allow more air flow.. it kinda worked.. my nose always feels like its running but nothing is actually there, very annoying.
 
Could be some growth orrrrr (took me a while to figure this out) if you have a cat or dog inside you can be allergic and have this reaction.
 
Go to a ENT specialist mate. I had huge sinus problems, and had septoplasty op done couple of years back. They drained all the gunk and fixed me 100%.
 
That was the only downside, the fkn price....cost me $6k at a private hospital. I enquired about getting it done at a public hospital and was told to expect 18 month wait. The sinus was having a major effect on my hearing....I was having lot of trouble hearing things, so no way I was gonna wait that long.

I've since joined private health fund....after the horse had already bolted lol.

But I'm just glad to be back to normal, so I dont give the cost a second thought anymore.
 
Mate I have a similar problem.. I just role with it. I barely notice now..Last time I saw an ENT I had my tonsils taken out.. at 21 that was the MOST FUCKING PAINFUL experience to date.

I don't think mine is related to my sinus' though, yours sounds like it bothers you alot more than mine does/did
 
Mine is absolutely fuked!

It gives me brain fog. I literally use nasal spray and can suddenly think clearly until my nose blocks up again. Even better, now that I've used so much of it my sense of smell is disappearing.
