PTC sydney vs brisbane 64kg kettlebell swing comp

OK the comp is as below this is for bragging rights and epeen.
Rules -
1. The 64kg kettlebell has to be at least parrallel.
2. This has to be filmed
3. Do as many as u can and the tallys will be put up here
4. You can use the momentum to keep going.. no rest.. and this has to be performed at PTC Shitney or brisfail
5. Comp will run till 15th december 2011

yeah i thought the comp would be a good idea to get the guys at my gym to use the 64's instead of just UDL/DL
 
Trent can't swing the 64kg yet alone the 80kg.

Are any of the girls swinging 32kg yet Ceffo? What are they swinging?

Ive only swung then once so far, from a learners perpective...is that vid really parallell?

No girls have attempted the 32kg yet as some were not up to it or sick.

Ill post more up later as they come in.

sorry...pretty cheeky for someone who nearly got knocked over backwards by a 12kg (i think it was) KB on the first few swings isnt it??:D
 
Long as your giving it a go eje :)
(P.S being short helps your squats ive found you have less distance to travel :p)
Not too long ago (6months) i could hardly swing the 40kg.. now im swinging the 64kg. Just consistency as most here know gets u there.
 
it wasnt crazy reps but they were parrallel.. hahaha

steve got too many like 12 plus.. can we use some formula here for bodyweight advantage? :p
 
The first bloke did well.

The other two are asking for trouble.you must maintain the backs natural curvature.
Focus on the muscles doing the work.
