Overhead squat mobility.

The Hamburgler

Spotter Loader
Just wondering if people had some advice on getting flexible/mobile enough to do full overhead squats/snatches?

I've been stretching out my chest/shoulders/lats using BBs, bands and broom sticks (basically just trying to push my arms back into the position they should be for an o/h squat).
atm I can do bench squats (which are noticeably above parallel) but my hands have to be right up against the collars on a full sized BB (I can't even do them with the training bar)

Just wondering whether it's just a matter of patience or could I be trying something else?

Cheers

Yeah snatch grip

Rob from Phoenix Weightlifting in Oakleigh (Vic) taught me the grip. I think mine is probably a bit wider than what is normal though, most likely to compensate for the lack of flexibility
