It's a bit gory in parts, don't click just before or after lunch. Short version, he got chomped on by a shark, still works out harder and more effectively than 99% of us.

Anyone else inspiring out there who makes you feel like a wuss?

That is one tough bastard.

I know if something like that happened to me I don't think I'd be able to do what he's doing

You never know; it may just be the catalyst/the trigger that changes people's determination and sends it into the territory of the unexpected.

Fadi.

i remember when this happened and always wondered how this guy was going with no hand and foot. i have an avid fascination with sharks and shark attacks and will follow any shark story in the news lol, i have swum with them before and had a 7 gill shark about 2.5 metres long swim up to my face about 6 inches away then circle and do it again. one day i hope to cage dive with the whites in south australia

He's a Christian of the happy-clappy kind but still alright.

No matter what he is mate you have to respect that. Most people would give up in that situation this guy is an inspiration.

Paralympian Kurt Fearnley crawls Kokoda Track

Had a work function last night (Thursday). Guest speaker was Kurt Fearnley, chatted about his 11 days, 9 hours crawling Kokoda... unbelievable, he just got back from winning the Chicago marathon for the 4th time. Came across very confidant man, really grounded and even humble.

Laughed about us "giving a standing ovation to a man in a wheelchair" and then said how he doesn't see why he's "inspirational" and that he's "just a guy in a chair". But watching some of the video of him crawling up the track through the mud then a video of his win at the Paralympics in Beijing... amazing
