Upright rows with girly parts getting in the way

When my boyfriend doees upright rows he can keep the weight close to his body all the way up only because he is rather skinny. But when i do them my girlie bits get in the way making it impossible to do the exercise in the same way.
My workout clothes are made for comfort and not to boost my ego, keeping my chest as flat as can be, But this only helps a little as my breasts still get in the way.

Which brings me here to Ausbb to ask the question of what is good form for upright rows for a woman with a large chest?

Hi Special K,

Maybe you could try a curl bar and aim the bent out parts to miss your girl bits. Or use dumbbells or use bands or use cables like a functional trainer unit or cable crossover.
Or, simply don't keep the bar so close to your body.
Or do one of the other many exercises which will suit your body better.

Good luck.

As long as you keep it as close as possible the exercise will still work the right parts. Just make sure your grip is right closer than shoulder width and get the weight high enough up around your chin. Just because you can't get it in as close as your boyfriend or other guys in the gym shouldn't make much of of a difference

thanks for all the help , my grip is right , shoulder width apart feels comfortable in that position , the bf told me the same to get it up as high as possible , doesn't hurt to get a second opinion

, sometimes these things can be a curse , other times can be a access all areas pass lol
