Health Funds??

Does anyone make use of private health funds eg (mbf or nib). for massages, chiropractor ect.

Good experiences or bad with the fund or any major benefits from one to the other?

Need to sign up to one, just after a heads up on any which could be the best bet.
 
Use I select.

Make sure the fund has separate categories for massage and natuural therapies.

Some combine massage, nutrition , Osteo under 1 category so you will get say $200 worth but any of those different things count towards it.

Others have separate categories so you might get twice as much value.

Or you could just put aside in another account every week an amount the highest coverage would cost you.

Noobs I'm seeing my T specialist soon should I get in one to cover my prescriptions? Is it expensive? I got Viagra prescribed today to help me through pct and it was $149 for 12 tablets! I'd rather wait a month!!!

149 for 12 , I thought it was like 70 for 4...

You have to look at what the fund offers in terms of private perscriptions. Some might be $600 a year some might be nothing.

Yeah they are. The doctor said try half first and go from there. Funny thing is I can buy this stuff cheaper illegally... It's good to have a doctor behind you though. Finally found a good one. Had another blood test today and it's all bulk billed... Thank god!
