Hi everyone!

I'm around 2 months pregnant and am wanting to keep up with my fitness routine during the pregnancy

Can anyone give me so advice on what kind of workout I could do while pregnant?

I don't want to back off completely from working out

thanks

MissB and the little one :)

Hi Miss B. Have you spoken with your doctor? I work at a gym, and most of our pregnant clients pretty much keep going as per usual, they just lessen the intensity and impact. But a lot depends on your medical history, etc. Anything in the pool is perfect, and with any group classes always let the instructor know so they can let you know what you can and can't do. This is especially important when it comes to yoga. Good luck!

HI missB,

Walking is the best exercise for pregnant women like you..

First off Congrats on your pregnancy, with your working out check with your doctor

Generally while pregnant you can continue to do anything you did before your pregnancy. Just remember to take it easy with very high impact workout, Continue on with your cardio do what you feel comfortable with, keep well hydrated and as cool .

You can also continue to do weights work, as long as you don't lie on your back , but as the pregnancy progresses, you may find balance becomes an issue, so modify your workout to accommodate

Your own body is the best indicator go by what your body tells you. If you find something uncomfortable seek out an alternative.

But as i said above before doing any workout seek guidance from your doctor first
