Goin back 9yrs, I was involved in a rather nasty clash playing softball which caused no damage to the 100kg+ catcher, but left me with my right quad muscle split in 2 places, and an avulsion fracture to the pelvis.
(An avulsion fracture is a bone fracture which occurs when a fragment of bone tears away from the main mass of bone as a result of physical trauma.)
The fracture I am assuming involved either the adductor longus or brevis, due to where most the pain generated and is currently coming from.
Now onto the question, is there much in the way of, strengthening this area up without a trip to a gym to use a hip adductor machine?
I've been gently stretching this area throughout the day at work, but since moving house the other week I seemed to have aggrevated the injury.
Any help greatly appreciated Mike.
