Gravel rash type thingy :/

No its not herpes lol

A few guys train at my house with me. Out of 7, 2 have had what looks like gravel rash on the body, but nobody has had a stack!

Both of the ones im thinking of happened whilst deadlifting at 90% of all they had. The rash was quite large, about the size of a $20 note, and was on the inside of the forearm - whitest side.

Somebody has suggested "micro-tears", does that sound right?

Anyway, seeing as almost 30% of the people I train with have had this, I thought Id call on the greater AusBB community to see what the go is. Are they bad/harmfull? Or is it just like going red in the face? All the tears were gone within a day or two.

Cheers fella's

Negative. They were using mixed grip, and it was the forearm pointiing out i think.

Either way, one said he had the same thing on his lats after a heavy bench session.

Bleeding from your capillaries near the skin, that or you guys are spreading lice to each other.

As I can't see it I can not be sure, but if it is then it is nothing to worry about just a blood rush.
