Squats

Is it possible to purchase a squat machine?
Just wanna know the benifets of doing squats, i think i read that they work almost eveything, is that true?
Something capable of that must'nt come cheap.
Currently hovering around 65 kgs wanna get to 70kg. I think doing squats with weight may help me tip into that direction.
Was doing squats a little while ago but it got dangerous because at the end of the set i couldnt pull the weight back over my head. So i think my legs suffered due to the lack of squat or any sort of exercise.
cheers

Its insane, a set of getstrength stands are 980AUD, yet you can get a full rack that is unmatchable for 1200...

If i had my time again i wouldve definetely got one.

Yes make sure you can use it for bench press.. Then you only need a simple bench saves money.

Do not waste money on a power cag what ever that crap is i hate the feeling of being confined..

also remember to try and buy some rubber to stick to where the barbell actually racks and remember not to leave it racked with weight. proper stands do not mount on the knurling but i doubt you will find one like this. Markos can further on what i am saying if he knows what i am ranting about.

I think aust kettlebells have some good butcheap barbells atm on sale. Not all knurling is created equel..

A power rack?

Couldn't live without mine, saved me a few times and makes me heaps more comfortable.

Best $1250 I've ever spent, period.

Dam its pricey.
Silverback what did you mean by being able to press?

Make sure its low enough to bench press from sometimes the rails are too high and you wont be able to get the bar down low enough,
If you look at a picture of one and think about it you iwll understand.

As for a power cage how can it save you? How is it any different to a decent squat rack with rails? Its just overpriced uneeded garbage..

Something like this is more then adequate if you can find one with low enough for bench press.

Aldi?
I saw some that look similar, would have bought those but only rated to 100kg.
