Hi guys just letting you know if your anywhere near the Toowoomba area the fund raiser Peak to Park is on again. Did it in 52 min last year without training but going for a 45 this year (still no long distance training but been doing football pre season) Good few tough hills but a fairly easy run in the aim of helping others!

Details:
The Chronicle Peak2Park 2010 fun run/walk event is sooner than you think. On the first Sunday of March, tie up your runners and join hundreds of others for a Fun Run/Walk while raising funds for local charities at the annual Peak to Park 2010 event in Toowoomba.

The 10km run, which starts at 7am, followed by the 4km walk at 7:30am, begins at Picnic Point and finishes at Lake Annand on the first Sunday of March.

Those who have not registered can do so on the day, from 6:15am at the Bandstand, Picnic Point.

This year’s event has attracted the naming rights sponsorship from The Chronicle, Toowoomba’s daily newspaper.

The major beneficiaries of The Chronicle Peak2Park 2010 will be Fresh Hope - Drug Rehabilitation Home for Mothers and their Children, The Toowoomba Hospice and The Cancer Council.
